He comes from purebred parents, has been examined by a veterinarian, is fully vaccinated, and is in excellent health. He has already started learning basic commands. Dachshunds make excellent companions for active families. Originally bred for hunting small animals, they have long bodies and short legs, making them well-suited for navigating narrow burrows. These dogs are fearless but may be wary of strangers and bark loudly. Due to their strong hunting instincts, they may chase small pets, so early socialization is important.
